F/o, stuff firmly and close. Leave a long tail for sculpting the face.

Insert the needle into the back and through a stitch in the corner of the eye.
Next, insert the needle through one of the holes adjacent to the one you just came out of and through a stitch in the corner of the other eye. Pull the yarn until it creates an indent where the eye is.
Repeat the last step a couple times to make sure it is secure. When you are done, pull the needle through the back and fasten it off.

Use butterfly clips to help flatten the ears, or you can place them under something heavy for a few hours. I clipped the tops of the ears down to make them stay bent.

Sewing

Sew all the pieces together.

Tail

Cut a bunch of strands of yarn.

Insert your hook through one of the holes where you want the tail to be and grab the middle of one of your strands of yarn. Pull it through until you have a loop big enough to feed the ends through.
Pull the ends through the loop tight to make a knot.
Repeat until you are satisfied with the size of the tail and brush it lightly with a wired dog brush until it is nice and fluffy. I like to take a felting needle and felt the knots down for extra security.
